Our friends at <\/strong>SODIC plan to invest over EGP 10 bn in the hospitality sector <\/strong>through 2029,<\/strong> with plans to develop more than 550 hotel units \u2014 mostly along the North Coast, General Manager Ayman Amer said during a tour of the company\u2019s coastal projects. The move comes as the real estate giant looks to scale its presence in the luxury tourism market.<\/p>\n

Tribute Portfolio and Nobu coming to the North Coast:<\/strong> The company will launch a Marriott Tribute Portfolio hotel at its June project in Ras El Hekma, which will span 18k sqm and include 180 rooms. A second hotel under the Nobu brand will open in the Ogami project in Ras El Hekma, and will include around 80 hotel rooms and 220 branded hotel residences.<\/p>\n

A sizable l<\/strong>and bank and a wider footprint:<\/strong> SODIC sits on around 8 mn sqm of undeveloped land and is currently exploring new opportunities in East Cairo and the Red Sea, Amer said. The company aims to expand its geographic footprint while diversifying its project portfolio.<\/p>\n

Two new schools<\/strong> in the pipeline:<\/strong> SODIC is also planning to build two international schools in East and West Cairo over the next five years \u2014 as part of its push to integrate upscale education into its developments, according to Amer.<\/p>\n

SODIC has seen unit prices rise <\/strong>10-30% this year<\/strong>, reflecting strong demand for its communities, Amer said. The company aims to deliver 2k residential units in 2025 \u2014 including 200 at the June development \u2014 and another 1.3k in 2026.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
