\u26bd Two European champions go head-to-head<\/strong> as PSG and Real Madrid battle it out tonight at 10pm to determine who joins Chelsea in the finals \u2014 who qualified yesterday after defeating Fluminense.<\/p>\n

Both teams are at the peak of their glory<\/strong>. Just one month ago, PSG crushed Inter Miami with a five-goal victory, securing the Champions League victory for the first time in history. Real Madrid, however, has earned that title twice in the last four seasons.<\/p>\n

An all-European final<\/strong>. With Fluminense\u2019s exit, the final is now an all-European affair. This means that a European club will take home the trophy for the 12th consecutive time. However, the previous 11 were under the old format, now renamed the Intercontinental Cup. The last non-European club to walk away victorious was Brazil's Corinthians against Chelsea in 2012.<\/p>\n

Chelsea\u2019s path to the finals<\/strong>. The English team reached the finals after a comfortable 2-0 victory over Fluminense. Both goals were scored by the Brazilian Jo\u00e3o Pedro, once a Fluminense academy player, who joined the Blues just one week ago.<\/p>\n

A defending champion protects his run. <\/strong>World No. 2, Spain\u2019s Carlos Alcaraz, is going strong and steady. Yesterday, Alcaraz successfully eliminated his opponent Cameron Norrie in straight sets (6-3, 6-3, 6-2), qualifying for the semi-finals, and continuing his bid to secure victory for the third consecutive year. <\/p>\n

Alcaraz is preparing to face World No. 5, <\/strong>US player Taylor Fritz, next Friday, after the latter defeated Russia's Karen Khachanov with a score of (6-3, 6-4, 1-6, 7-6), advancing to the semi-finals for the first time in his career. <\/p>\n

      US\u2019s World No. 12 Amanda Anisimova managed to defeat Russia's Anastasia <\/strong>Pavlyuchenkova, <\/strong>securing victory in straight sets (6-1, 7-6). Anisimova has now secured her spot in the semi-finals, and is set to face World No. 1 tomorrow.<\/p>\n
