Visa appointed Tareq Muhmood (<\/strong>LinkedIn<\/a><\/strong>) as its<\/strong> new regional president<\/strong> for Central and <\/strong>Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (CEMEA)<\/strong>, the payment card services company said in a statement (pdf)<\/a>. Muhmood brings over 30 years of experience in banking and payments to the role, having most recently served as head of value-added services for Visa Europe. He takes over from Andrew Torre, who was tapped as president of Visa\u2019s value-added services business. <\/p>\n
