It will offer 700 direct jobs and 220 indirect ones. The project will \u201ccontribute to reducing Egypt's import bill for ductile iron pipes \u2014 essential components in national infrastructure, utility, and housing projects,\u201d Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly said. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>REMEMBER- <\/strong>Xinxing <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/d37e6527-1e8b-450d-a371-68e38a2907c9\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">began constructing<\/a> the factory in the TEDA industrial park in May of last year. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Demand is high: <\/strong>Xinxing <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/EgyptianCabinet\/posts\/pfbid02UGV9JRUBrZnrk1xscsftozddDQSVF3SB643RS8Umnz1Rk2AEtHohkM2zbG73MLWvl\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">inked four supply agreements<\/a> worth EGP 34.5 bn to supply over 77.6k tons of ductile iron pipes on the sidelines of the inauguration \u2014 EGP 32.5 bn of the supply will go to national projects in Egypt, and USD 39 mn will be exported.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>The four contracts: <\/strong>Xinxing will supply state-owned construction firm Arab Contractors with 1.1k tons of ductile iron pipes for a water station in the new capital; Madkour Group with 27.8k tons of pipes for its Janna Project; <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hassanallam.com\/subsidaries\/hassan-allam-trading-and-engineering\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Hassan Allam Trading and Engineering<\/a> with 19.6k tons of pipes for a project in Aswan; and <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/concord-ec.com\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Concord<\/a> with 29.2k tons of pipes for the Third Ring Road project in KSA.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">AS FOR HAYAT\u2019S PROJECT- <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Hayat\u2019s tissue paper factory has an <\/strong><strong>annual production capacity of 60k tons<\/strong> and offers 200 direct jobs, according to a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/1Y7KkZSiGE\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">separate statement<\/a>. The factory expands an already-existing plant the company had set up in Ain Sokhna. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>The plant will be fully export-oriented<\/strong>, with annual export sales expected to come in at USD 75 mn.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>The new plant brin<\/strong><strong>gs Hayat\u2019s total investments in Egypt to USD 632 mn<\/strong>, making it the largest Turkish investor in the country, according to a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ent.news\/2025\/5\/1065.pdf\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">statement (pdf)<\/a> from the company. The Turkish player is positioning Egypt as a regional manufacturing and export hub serving more than 60 markets.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>And more investment<\/strong><strong>s in the pipeline:<\/strong> Hayat is planning to bring two new factories online in Egypt \u2014 one by 1Q 2026 and another in late 2026, Hayat Egypt\u2019s General Manager \u015eenol Keserlio\u011flu told EnterpriseAM.
