? What makes a good sandwich? <\/strong>At Bakery Khan, that\u2019s up to you to decide. When it comes to customizable sammies, there aren\u2019t that many players claiming the game \u2014 and Bakery Khan is here to play with a truckload of sweet, savory, oriental and western baked goodies at your fingertips.<\/p>\n

The menu is overwhelming \u2014 and we loved to scroll through it. <\/strong>At Bakery Khan, more is more. The bakery has a seemingly infinite supply of croissants, p\u00e2t\u00e9s, mana\u2019ech, cinnamon rolls, donuts, danishes, muffins, and other goodies \u2014 the sort you find yourself inclined to bring with you on your way to a Friday afternoon gathering. The bakery\u2019s crowning jewel, however? Their sandwiches \u2014 and the endless possibilities that come with them.<\/p>\n

But first \u2014 the staples. <\/strong>We gladly went overboard with our order \u2014 on the savory front, we got the spinach pastries box, the halloumi cheese man\u2019oucheh, the zaatar man\u2019oucheh, and a sausage croissant. We left no crumbs. The primary selling point was freshness, followed by a flaky but soft texture. Star of the show? The mini spinach pastries.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s never not time for a donut.<\/strong> Donuts of Nutella, biscoff, and pistachio variations were tested, but the classic sugar donut reigned supreme. But it didn\u2019t stand a chance against the fruity danish and the raisins and cinnamon danish \u2014 both of which proved re-order-worthy.<\/p>\n

There are no bounds when it comes to customizing your own sandwich at Bakery Khan:<\/strong> you can opt for all sorts of bread, \u2014 including croissants \u2014 cheeses, veggie fillings, and protein-heavy fillings. We put in an order for a bagel stuffed with smoked beef, cheddar, onions, lettuce, and a special cocktail sauce, and a croissant that had an omelet and pastrami-sponsored surprise nestled inside, cozied up with tomatoes, peppers, and honey mustard. The sandwiches were perfect in all categories but one: portion. So if you\u2019re feeling hungry, we\u2019d recommend doubling down.<\/p>\n
