Egypt\u2019s largest independent energy exploration and production company has appointed <\/strong>Shamrendra Singh (<\/strong>LinkedIn<\/a><\/strong>) as its new chief operating officer, <\/strong>Cheiron said in a statement<\/a>. Singh has more than 20 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, spanning India, the North Sea, and Egypt. <\/p>\n

Singh has been with Cheiron since 2016 <\/strong>and has held several senior roles across the organization, most recently serving as the managing director of Cheiron\u2019s Badr Petroleum Company. Prior to joining Cheiron, Singh held leadership posts at BG Group \u2014 now incorporated under Shell following a 2016 acquisition.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
