Also on the agenda are Egypt\u2019s requests to relax some timelines and other terms of the agreement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>A further USD 1.3 bn could also be on the table<\/strong>, with the Board set to discuss approving the funds under the Resilience and Sustainability Facility during its meeting. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\">\n<hr style=\"height:2px;border-width:0;color:gray;background-color:gray\">\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><a id=\"wwtt3\"><\/a> <strong>#2-<\/strong> <strong>Will t<\/strong><strong>he inflation momentum slowdown continue? <\/strong>Economists, policymakers, and private sector players will be eagerly awaiting the country\u2019s latest inflation figures for February set to be released by state statistics agency Capmas later today. Annual headline urban inflation <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">edged down<\/a> to 24.0% in January \u2014 a smaller-than-expected decrease, which nonetheless marked its lowest level since December 2022.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Most analysts <\/strong><strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/813bdc4e-1942-423b-ab6f-03afcaa2372f\/egypt%25e2%2580%2599s%253cmark%253e-inflation%253c%2Fmark%253e-projected-to-have-dipped-sharply-in-february--enterpriseam-poll\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">polled by EnterpriseAM<\/a><\/strong><strong> forecast a sharp drop<\/strong>, with the median forecast of the ten analysts polled expecting annual headline urban inflation to fall to 14.3% \u2014 nearly a 10 percentage point drop from the previous month on the back of a favorable base effect.
