A whole lot of Cypriot ga<\/strong>s will be coming our way by the end of the decade: <\/strong>Egypt\u2019s liquefied in facilities will start receiving 400 mn cubic feet per day (mcf\/d) from Cyprus\u2019 Cronos gas field starting mid-2027 and another 500 mcf\\d of gas from the country\u2019s Aphrodite field by 2030, a senior government official told Asharq Business<\/a>.<\/p>\n

REMEMBER- <\/strong>The Oil Ministry kicked off the Egypt Energy Show last month by signing two<\/a>agreements<\/a> with Cyprus to liquify and re-export Cypriot natural gas, following months of talk<\/a> about an energy corridor connecting the two nations. The agreements came as part of the government\u2019s push to return Egypt to its status as a net LNG exporter. Under the agreements, Cyprus will ship natural gas from its offshore fields to be liquefied in facilities in Idku and Damietta before being re-exported to foreign markets.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
