Abu <\/strong>Qir Fertilizers tapped board member and former transport minister <\/strong>Hany <\/strong>Dahy<\/strong> to head a new steering committee<\/strong> tasked with overseeing the company\u2019s business operations, according to an EGX disclosure (pdf)<\/a>. The appointment of Dahy \u2014 who currently chairs state-owned shipping firm National Navigation Company and formerly served as head of the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate \u2014 comes just days after the passing (pdf)<\/a> of chairman and CEO Abed Ezz El Regal.<\/p>\n

Also on board:<\/strong> The committee will also include two other current board members \u2014 Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation Chairman Salaheldin Awad<\/strong> and the Holding Company for Chemical Industries Chairman Emad El Din Mostafa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

AND- EgyptAir Holdin<\/strong>g has a new chairman: <\/strong>Civil Aviation Minister Sameh Elhefny has appointed Ahmed Adel as chairman and managing director of EgyptAir Holding, according to a statement<\/a>. Adel has been with EgyptAir since 1988, previously serving as head of air operations and deputy chairman.
