The two leaders discussed the future of Gaza and the exchange of hostages. Trump\u2019s plan for Gaza:<\/strong> Trump voiced his new plans<\/a> for Gaza \u2014 he intends for the US to take over Gaza and \u201cown it.\u201d His plans entail displacing Palestinians \u201cto other countries of interest with humanitarian hearts, and there are many of them, that want to do this,\u201d he said, singling out Egypt and Jordan. <\/p>\n

El Hadidi questioned Trump's shift in tone:<\/strong> \u201cTrump preempted negotiations for the second phase of the ceasefire agreement, stating that he was unsure of its viability,\u201d Kelma Akhira\u2019s Lamees El Hadidi said (watch, runtime: 4:44<\/a>). She also noted Trump's shift in rhetoric, which went from discussing the displacement of Palestinians to Egypt and Jordan to expanding Israel's territory. \u201cThis is the time for a unified Arab stance,\u201d she said, warning that Trump would try to divide Arab countries using incentives and pressure.<\/p>\n
