Beltone Holding CEO Dalia Khorshid was recognized at the Forbes Middle <\/strong>East Women's Summit 2024<\/strong> for her leadership in the investment sector, according to a statement<\/a>(pdf)<\/a>. She was recognized for her role in driving the success of Beltone Holding, earning a spot in the 100 Most Powerful CEOs<\/a> in the Middle East list and being included in Forbes Middle East Sustainability Leaders<\/a> list for her green finance efforts. <\/p>\n

A busy week for Beltone: <\/strong>Beltone Holding announced<\/a> yesterday that it got the green light from its board to move forward with an EGP 10.75 bn capital increase \u2014 The capital increase will be one of the largest ever on the EGX.<\/p>\n

Another Beltone exec recognized: <\/strong>CEO and managing partner of Beltone Venture Capital Ali Mokhtar (LinkedIn<\/a>) was recognized by Forbes Middle East as one of the Top Venture Capitalists of 2024 for his transformative leadership and contributions to the MENA startup ecosystem, according to a separate statement (pdf)<\/a>. Mokhtar has led Beltone Venture Capital\u2019s drive to build a USD 40 mn portfolio of 14 startups since April 2023, including WayUp Sports, Bosta, Trella, ariika, VelyVelo, Lychee, Khazna, and BirdNest. <\/p>\n
