The story\u2019s bizarre setup adds a layer of comedic appeal to what is otherwise a shocking true crime story. <\/p>\n

The story begins with Paul Kevin<\/strong> Curtis<\/strong>. <\/strong>Curtis becomes deeply obsessed with conspiracy theories after making some dark and unsettling discoveries. He falls down a rabbit hole, uncovering more and more secrets, leading him to isolate himself from everyone around him. <\/p>\n

\u2026enter the karate instructor<\/strong>, Everett Dutshke, who was also a former political candidate. Dutshke harbors a personal vendetta against Curtis, and falsely accuses him of sending ricin-laced letters to President Obama. This starts a complicated legal battle that reveals he was attempting to scapegoat Curtis. Confused?
