Our canine compatriots got a little slice of the limelight last week:<\/strong> A viral video of an Egyptian dog standing on top of the pyramid of Khafre last week left mns around the world asking \u2014 how did that dog get up there and why? <\/p>\n

The answer:<\/strong> According to co-founder of the American Cairo Animal Rescue Foundation Ibrahim Elbendary, the dog \u2014 named Apollo \u2014 is part of a pack of around eight dogs that lives atop the Khafre pyramid, the Washington Post<\/a> reports.
