New GEM CEO: <\/strong>Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly has appointed Ahmed Ghoneim as the CEO of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) for a one-year term, according to an Tourism Ministry statement<\/a>. He previously served as the CEO of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, an advisor to Egypt's Trade Ministry on international trade and agreements, and as Egypt\u2019s cultural attache and education mission head in Germany and Austria, overseeing ten other countries between 2014 and 2018.<\/p>\n
