The Finance Ministry approved investors\u2019 letters of guarantee on Tuesday, one day after the EETC informed them during a meeting that they would be picking up the bill for 15-20% increases in the costs of infrastructure works being carried out under the terms of their cost-sharing agreement. The exact increase will be specified in letters sent to companies in phases one and two over the next two weeks, but will be no less than 35% according to Borsa. The meeting took place <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2017\/02\/20\/feed-in-tariff-to-remain-unchanged-electricity-ministry-to-hold-talks-with-investors-to-discuss-funding-concerns\/\">one day after<\/a> the Electricity Ministry announced it would not be increasing the feed-in tariff as solar power companies had been <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2016\/12\/04\/government-freezes-negotiations-over-five-energy-projects-signed-at-eedc\/\">urging for months<\/a>. With costs on the rise, 10 solar power companies have relocated their projects from Zaafarana to Aswan\u2019s Benban make use of the government\u2019s cost-sharing agreement with the 23 other companies already at work there and cut the extra time and money needed to build new infrastructure to tie them the national grid, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alborsanews.com\/2017\/02\/20\/10-%D8%B4%D8%B1%D9%83%D8%A7%D8%AA-%D8%B7%D8%A7%D9%82%D8%A9-%D8%B4%D9%85%D8%B3%D9%8A%D8%A9-%D8%AA%D9%86%D9%82%D9%84-%D9%85%D8%B4%D8%B1%D9%88%D8%B9%D8%A7%D8%AA%D9%87%D8%A7-%D9%85%D9%86-%D8%A7%D9%84\/\">Al Borsa also says<\/a>.
