Some auto companies will be forced to extend the warranty periods for a number of customers to accommodate delays at their workshops and service centers, according to new decisions issued by the Consumer Protection Agency (CPA) issued in response to complaints, Al Mal<\/a> reports. The decisions also instruct the companies to complete the work within 20 days or face paying each customer a EGP 300 daily fine or having to provide a different car until the job is complete. Others will be forced to replace flawed cars that are still within warranty.
