Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr signed four <\/strong>agreements worth EUR 259 mn with the French Development Agency (AFD) yesterday<\/strong>, according to a press release<\/a> backing projects in energy, wastewater and healthcare. In other France-related news, a signing ceremony for a EUR 100 mn agreement between the Investment and International Cooperation Ministry and AFD for the Alexandria tram development project<\/a>, scheduled to take place yesterday, was postponed, Al Shorouk<\/a> reports. It has yet to be rescheduled.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Nasr is heading to Germany on Friday to complete negotiations for EUR 250 mn <\/strong>worth of budgetary support loans<\/strong>, according to Al Mal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Finland wants to invest in renewable energy projects and possibly electrical <\/strong>equipment manufacturing in Egypt<\/strong>, Finland\u2019s ambassador in Egypt Laura Kansikas-Debraise says, according to Al Mal<\/a>.
