Tamar field shareholders, including Delek, Noble, and Isramco, had reportedly agreed to supply 60 bcf from the Israeli field through a pipeline and had been here to iron out the details. This is the second such visit we have heard of in under a year after the Israeli Knesset reportedly approved<a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2016\/09\/22\/israeli-knesset-approves-three-year-gas-import-agreement-with-dolphinus\/\">last year<\/a> an export agreement with Egypt\u2019s Dolphinus. We are skeptical now as we were back then as this would appear to signal a reversal in Prime Minister Sherif Ismail\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2016\/05\/08\/israel-to-submit-a-proposal-that-would-allow-gas-exports\/\">stand against gas imports from Israel<\/a> until the <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2016\/05\/08\/israel-to-submit-a-proposal-that-would-allow-gas-exports\/\">USD 1.76 bn international arbitration award<\/a> won by Israel Electric against state petroleum companies EGPC and EGAS and pipeline operator EMG is cleared.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Representatives from major shareholders in the Tamar gas field in Israel were reportedly here over the weekend to discuss exporting gas to Egypt through Dolphinus Holdings, according to unsubstantiated reports from Masrawy picked up by Al Mal.
