The measure would give the government legislative cover to compensate suppliers and contractors for FX losses incurred on state contracts after the EGP float.<\/li>\n<li>The House\u2019s Manpower Committee will <strong>begin talks on the Labor Act<\/strong> tomorrow. It is already being attacked by workers who claim it would take away the right to strike from workers in critical industries including transport, pharma, and food. The bill is also believed to include a clause that would force private sector companies to institute a 7% annual raise.<\/li>\n<li><strong>We can expect the Investment Act in a few weeks\u2019 time,<\/strong> General Authority for Free Zones and Investment chief <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ahram.org.eg\/News\/202200\/5\/582850\/\u0627\u0642\u062a\u0635\u0627\u062f\/\u0627\u0644\u0627\u0646\u062a\u0647\u0627\u0621-\u0645\u0646-\u0645\u0646\u0627\u0642\u0634\u0629--\u0645\u0627\u062f\u0629-\u0645\u0646-\u0645\u0634\u0631\u0648\u0639-\u0642\u0627\u0646\u0648\u0646-\u0627\u0644\u0627\u0633\u062a\u062b\u0645\u0627\u0631.aspx\">Mohamed Khodeir says<\/a>.
