El Garhy had told President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.almalnews.com\/Pages\/StoryDetails.aspx?ID=325279\">Tuesday meeting<\/a> that the regulations would be official \u201cin a few days\u2019 time\u201d and had been amended to incorporate some of the opinions of Egypt\u2019s business community and a number of recommendations by the Egyptian Council of State (Maglis Al Dawla) <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2017\/02\/27\/finance-ministry-will-not-amend-vat-law-to-issue-executive-regulations-in-one-or-two-weeks\/\">from last week<\/a>. The Maglis had proposed around 30 amendments to the draft regulations that state officials said would not all be accommodated.
