The Foreign & Commonwealth Office\u2019s travel warning only applies to North Sinai, and not other highly popular destinations such as Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, Aswan, and Hurghada, which she says \u201cechoes the message that Egypt\u2019s tourism officials are anxious to get across\u201d that tourist sites are safe. Although the UK\u2019s ban on flights to Sharm El Sheikh remains in place, British vacationers and tour operators are showing signs of being tempted to return. Hurghada is increasingly popular with Brits, the newspaper says.
