A delegation from the Toyota-Bollor\u00e9 consortium arrived in East Port Said on Wednesday to inspect port facilities ahead of the potential development of a pier for car imports, AMAY reports<\/a>. The consortium is currently in the final stages of negotiations with the Suez Canal Economic Zone and is expected to begin construction in the coming months, port Director Ali Assem tells the newspaper. We noted earlier this week<\/a> that Japan\u2019s NYK, one of the shipping lines that pulled out of Egypt after the hike in port fees, was also a part of the consortium.
