Dubai and Washington-based infrastructure investment company United World Infrastructure (UWI) is in talks with Egypt to invest USD 500 mn in a series of economic renewal development projects in Cairo. These include plans for urban redevelopments of parts of the city, and presumably the construction of a new suburb, Thomson Reuters reports<\/a>. The project would span at least 2,000 acres, according to UWI\u2019s managing director Aaditya Sarna.
