The House Economic Committee is expected to vote on the Investment Act by tomorrow <\/strong>at the latest,<\/strong> Rep. Medhat El Sherif said yesterday, telling Al Borsa<\/a> that the committee is waiting on the government to outline the incentives given to foreign investors before wrapping up its talks and sending the bill to a plenary session vote. Muharram Helal, the number two at the Union of Egyptian Investors\u2019 Association, said he expects the Investment Act to be in effect by the start of the new state fiscal year on 1 July, according to Youm7<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s wheat harvest will run from Saturday, 15 April until 15 July,<\/strong> Supply Minister Ali El Moselhy said on Sunday, Ahram Gate reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n
