The Fed accumulated the bonds during its three rounds of quantitative easing to boost the economy after the Great Recession. The move could both impact the price of the securities the Fed would look to offload, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2017\/04\/05\/fed-set-to-unwind-balance-sheet-this-year.html\">CNBC notes<\/a>, adding that some members of the Federal Reserve believe \u201cthe move itself would amount to a rate hike\u201d \u2014 to say nothing of being largely unprecedented in size.<\/li>\n<li>UK Prime Minister <strong>Theresa May and LSE CEO Xavier Rolet <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2017-04-05\/prime-minister-may-pitches-u-k-listing-for-aramco-on-saudi-trip\"><strong>made the pilgrimage to <\/strong><strong>Saudi Arabia<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 to Riyadh, that is, where they tried to pitch Energy Minister Khalid Al-Falih on listing Saudi Aramco in London instead of on the NYSE. <\/li>\n<li>Hmm\u2026 Wonder if they would ship any of it to Egypt? <strong>Qatar Gas and ExxonMobil are <\/strong><strong>going to <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-qatar-cyprus-energy-idUSKBN17718J\"><strong>start drilling for gas<\/strong><\/a><strong> off the southern coast of Cyprus<\/strong> in 2018.<\/li>\n<li>In the wake of Tuesday\u2019s horrific chemical weapons attack in Syria that has been blamed on Bashar Al Assad, <strong>Donald Trump has \u201copened the door to a greater American role in protecting the population in a vicious civil war<\/strong> that he has always said the United States should avoid,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2017\/04\/05\/world\/middleeast\/king-abdullah-jordan-trump.html?_r=0\">New York Times<\/a> reports. \u201cI now have responsibility, and I will have that responsibility and carry it very proudly,\u201d <a href=\"http:\/\/edition.cnn.com\/2017\/04\/05\/politics\/trump-syria-comments-response\/\">CNN quoted<\/a> him as saying. The incident killed 86 civilians, including 32 children.
