The executive regulations to the Investment Act will be released in a couple of weeks\u2019 <\/strong>time<\/strong>, Federation of Egyptian Industries\u2019 Investment Committee chair Mahmoud Soliman tells Youm7<\/a>. Government officials, however, didn\u2019t give a clear timeline<\/a> for the regulations. The Ismail government is legally allowed to deliver the regulations within three months from the date on which the House passed the law; the Investment Act passed on 7 May<\/a>. The regulations to the law are expected to tackle issues including export quotas to qualify for tax rebates, the allocation of industrial land, and the governance of private-sector free zones<\/strong>. They are also expected to clarify procedures for winding up a company<\/strong>, which will also be governed by the Bankruptcy Act that\u2019s currently in the works.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
