MPs said that the EGP 54 bn allocation is not enough to cover the country\u2019s needs, especially since EGP 13 bn of those are going into sanitation and drinking water projects \u2014 which they said should not even be part of the country\u2019s healthcare budget. Including military- and police-run hospitals in the budget was also a point of contention.
