Perched atop the 131-foot-tall Katshki pillar in Georgia is a 1,000-year-old church that <\/strong>is arguably the most peaceful place on the planet \u2014 and one man\u2019s home<\/strong>. According to Culture Trip, the church was abandoned for years until one mountaineer scaled the rock in 1944. Another man moved into the building two years ago and built a ladder that allows him to descend onto steady ground twice a week.
