The president generated international headlines<\/a> by stressing \u201cthe need to lift the arms embargo imposed on the Libyan army<\/strong>, given it is a fundamental pillar for eradicating terrorism in Libya.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prime Minister Sherif Ismail discussed Egypt\u2019s economic reform drive with British Prime <\/strong>Minister Theresa May <\/strong>in London on Thursday, Al Mal reported<\/a>. Ismail also met with<\/a> UK Defense Minister Michael Fallon during his trip to London to discuss ways to further strategic cooperation, particularly on fighting terrorism. The Prime Minister, who was in the UK for the 2017 London Somalia conference, also talked cooperation with Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed, the newspaper added<\/a>.<\/p>\n
