McDonald\u2019s looks to FP7McCann for help with its socials: <\/strong>FP7McCann Cairo<\/a> secured McDonald\u2019s social media account in Egypt, expanding their existing partnership which goes back to 2002, according to a statement (pdf)<\/a>. The agency will manage both online and offline communications for McDonald\u2019s, in addition to the brand and local store marketing accounts that it already runs. <\/p>\n

Remember: <\/strong>The vast majority of McDonald\u2019s restaurants are franchise locations \u2014 and in Egypt every single one of the company\u2019s restaurants is owned and run by its local franchise partner Manfoods. Mansour Group subsidiary Manfoods has over 100 outlets across the country as part of its exclusive franchise that started in 1994 when it opened the fast-food chain\u2019s first restaurants in the country.<\/p>\n
