The priority is to bring inflation down into the \u2018teens, El Garhy said. Concerns about \u201creform fatigue\u201d will have no impact on the government\u2019s economic growth target, he says, explaining that \u201cnext year\u2019s 4.6% [GDP growth target] is manageable\u2026 we\u2019re coming from a period of time where economic activity was very slow \u2026 now the economy is kicking back.\u201d<\/p>\n

El Garhy also notes that tightening of monetary policy would not have a large impact <\/strong>on growth<\/strong> prospects because it \u201cshould be there temporarily\u201d and would come down to a more manageable level.
