The near-monopoly still retains a market share of 75.3% as of the end of March, down from 76% at the end of last year. The Telecom Egypt subsidiary lost 5,000 household subscribers, but gained 2,000 new corporate clients. The gains were made by DSL services provided by MNOs Orange Egypt (formerly Linkdotnet), Vodafone, and Etisalat Misr.
