The Environment Ministry has released 40 sea turtles, which prey on jellyfish, into the Mediterranean Sea to counteract the recent rise in the number of jellyfish<\/strong>, head of the ministry\u2019s North District Protectorates division Mohamed El Essawi said, Al Shorouk reports<\/a>. Some experts have said that the increase in jellyfish is due to the overfishing of sea turtles, which disturbed the marine ecosystem.
