<\/a> INVESTMENT WATCH - TCV closes USD 2.5 mn investment in premium agri exporter Plantform: <\/strong>Egypt\u2019s TCV (formerly Tanmiya Capital Ventures) announced on a Sunday<\/a> that its mid-cap investment fund TCV1 has closed its first ever transaction with a USD 2.5 mn investment in agribusiness company Plantform. Plantform, which exports 100% of its premium speciality produce canned processed fruits and vegetables, also supplies a number of household names including Papa Johns, Little Caesars and Burger King. This is TCV1\u2019s first direct investment following its March close with anchor limited partners including the Egyptian American Enterprise Fund and EFG Hermes.<\/strong> TCV1, which specializes in helping mid-cap Egyptian companies scale up, also plans to commence due diligence on two new potential investments before the end of July.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
