Kaos<\/strong> is a mythological madness of the olympic gods. <\/strong>Narrated by Prometheus (Stephen Dillane), a prisoner of Zeus (Jeff Goldblum), the show<\/a> pulls you into a world where gods reign from their high-tech Olympus, but deal with the same concerns as mortals \u2014 with a lot more power and ego involved.<\/p>\n

Zeus, the king of the gods, is paranoid, neurotic, and driven by a desperate need to <\/strong>control his image.<\/strong> When humans disrespect him with an anti-god graffiti stunt, he vows revenge. His wife \u2014 and sister, but let\u2019s not get into that \u2014 Hera (Janet McTeer) tries to calm him down.<\/p>\n

Down on Earth,<\/strong> we meet Eurydice, who goes by Riddy (Aurora Perrineau), a mortal who\u2019s grown tired of both the gods and her failing marriage to rockstar Orpheus (Killian Scott). Prometheus, chained and plotting his revenge on Zeus, sets the wheels of rebellion in motion, all while Zeus' son Dionysus (Nabhaan Rizwan) tries to win his father\u2019s approval.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s in the name:<\/strong> Zeus may be the king of gods, but chaos reigns on Kaos. The eccentric take on Zeus is easily the highlight \u2014 but the show stumbles with pacing and over-the-top satire that doesn\u2019t always land. It tries to be clever with modern interpretations of Greek mythology \u2014 but if you\u2019re a fan of mythology, satire, and quirky performances, this show might be worth sticking with.<\/p>\n
