Our green skyscraper under the spotlight: <\/strong>CN<\/a>N<\/a> is out with a deep dive into the new capital\u2019s USD 1 bn<\/a> Forbes International Tower, which will be powered by hydrogen and solar power. Tower developer, Magnom Properties<\/a>, plans to make it the \u201c world\u2019s first net-zero-carbon tower<\/a>,\u201d becoming the first tower to receive the Zero Carbon Certification. <\/p>\n

The data: <\/strong>The tower will slash its carbon footprint by 58% \u2014 some 60 mn kg of CO2 emissions \u2014 thanks to the developer increasing the percentage of low-embodied carbon materials used in construction.
