Burn her at the stake: <\/strong>Controversial English literature professor Mona Prince is being accused of \u201cglorifying Satan\u201d for teaching students John Milton's Paradise Lost<\/a>, The Telegraph reports<\/a>. The professor, who teaches at Suez University, which purports to be an academic institution, was accused of spreading \u201cdestructive ideas\u201d to students and \u201cfor calling for destroying and rejecting that which is sacred in favour of the authority of the human mind in determining its own fate\/destiny,\u201d among other nonsensical, Inquisition-era allegations. Topping it off, the alleged academics in charge of the \u201cinvestigation\u201d at the \u201cuniversity\u201d said they will send their findings to local prosecutors, \u201cwho might charge Dr Prince with insulting Islam,\u201d according to The Telegraph. \u201cIt reminds me of the women accused of being witches in Arthur Miller\u2019s The Crucible. I feel like I should be burned now \u2026 Paradise Lost is beautiful, it\u2019s a masterpiece, and I tried to compare it with Arabic literature so it would feel closer to my students<\/strong>.
