Prime Minister Sherif Ismail met with the ministers of health and finance yesterday to <\/strong>review the latest draft of the Universal Healthcare Act<\/strong>, according to Al Mal<\/a>. Cabinet is expected to begin discussing the act at the end of August<\/a>, with plans to take it to the House of Representatives in September<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Council of State (Maglis Al Dawla) is scheduled to begin its review of the executive <\/strong>regulations to the Investment Act in September<\/strong>, Al Borsa reports<\/a>. The council will form a committee comprised of economic experts, Investment Ministry consultants, and members of the council\u2019s legislation division, judicial sources tell the newspaper. The Ismail government signed off on the regulations<\/a> last week.<\/p>\n
