A better solution to avoid having gas pipelines cross either Lebanon or Syria, or having to go underwater through Cyprus to either Turkey or Italy is to send the gas through Egypt, the newspaper suggests. \u201cImports from Israel could help fill any gaps\u2014and turn Egypt into a regional energy hub.
