The likelihood of resuming exports of Irish cattle to Egypt increased after Ireland\u2019s Department of Agriculture successfully negotiated a veterinary certificate for fattening cattle for live export, Conor Finnerty writes for Agriland<\/a>. The Irish Farmers\u2019 Association (IFA) has reportedly been pushing that the certificate on live cattle to Egypt be extended to cover fattening, but quarantine remains to be an issue.
