El Kady also noted that the Ministry \u201cwould offer more wireless frequencies for sale at an unspecified later date,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/uk.reuters.com\/article\/us-egypt-telecoms\/high-speed-4g-mobile-internet-to-come-into-effect-in-egypt-this-month-minister-idUKKCN1BM144\">Reuters reports<\/a>, raising the prospect that quality of service would ultimately be okay. Sources from within the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) <a href=\"https:\/\/alborsanews.com\/2017\/09\/11\/1050208\">told Al Borsa<\/a> that they have completed technical tests for 4G for all the operators and that they are all good to go.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Telecom Egypt is also expected to launch its mobile network this month.<\/strong> The NTRA has asked the nation\u2019s three mobile operators to conclude their interconnection rate talks with TE ahead of the rollout, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.almalnews.com\/Story\/345343\/17\/%D8%AA%D9%86%D8%B8%D9%8A%D9%85-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%AA%D8%B5%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%AA-%D9%8A%D8%B7%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A8-%D8%A8%D8%A5%D9%86%D9%87%D8%A7%D8%A1-%D8%A3%D8%B2%D9%85%D8%A9-%D8%AA%D8%AD%D8%AF%D9%8A%D8%AF-%D8%A3%D8%B3%D8%B9%D8%A7%D8%B1-%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D9%83%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%A7%D8%AA\">Al Mal says<\/a>. That\u2019s the fee TE pays when one of its subscribers calls a number on a different network.<strong> Oh, and it looks like TE\u2019s rollout may be off to a rocky start<\/strong> (we have more in the Speed Round).<\/p>\n<p><strong>And before the industry can begin to celebrate 4G, MNOs need to take stock of the<\/strong><strong>consequences of raising international call rates<\/strong>, which has led to the flight of part of their customer base to internet-based calling services such as Skype and Facebook Messenger, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youm7.com\/story\/2017\/9\/12\/%D8%A8%D8%B9%D8%AF-%D8%B1%D9%81%D8%B9-%D8%A3%D8%B3%D8%B9%D8%A7%D8%B1-%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D9%83%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%A7%D8%AA-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AF%D9%88%D9%84%D9%8A%D8%A9-%D8%B4%D8%B1%D9%83%D8%A7%D8%AA-%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%AD%D9%85%D9%88%D9%84-%D9%81%D9%89-%D8%A3%D8%B2%D9%85%D8%A9-%D8%A8%D8%B3%D8%A8%D8%A8\/3408246\">sources told Youm7<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Are you willing to pay your investment bank for the privilege of consuming their research? <\/strong>The clash between investment banks for clients\u2019 eyeballs under MiFID II is heating up, and it could have implications for houses out here in MENA.
