Gamal El Din heads SCZones for another year:<\/strong> President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has renewed Walid Gamal El Din's term as chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) for another year, effective 12 August, according to an SCZone statement<\/a>. Gamal El Din was appointed as the chairman of the General Authority of the SCZone in August 2022, before which he served as vice chairman of SCZone for Investment and Promotion. <\/p>\n

El Sisi also extended the service of Suez Canal Authority (SCA) chairman and managing <\/strong>director Osama Rabie<\/strong> for another one-year term, effective 12 August, according to a separate statement<\/a>. Rabie has been serving as the SCA chief since August 2019. <\/p>\n
