Egyptian quarantine officials reportedly confirmed the shipment contains rotten tomatoes. While the move does not appear to be another blanket ban on a particular good from Egypt, it does not look good for Egyptian produce, which has been slapped with multiple bans on pepper and strawberry exports to Saudi, the UAE, and Sudan.
