Hilton Worldwide is looking to increase the number of hotel rooms it manages in Egypt by 40% by 2022\u2019s end, North Africa VP Mohab Ghali said, according to Reuters<\/a>. Hilton manages 17 hotels in Egypt currently and aims to take on seven more projects and add 2,500 rooms by 2022. Ghali says the average occupancy rates at Hilton hotels in Egypt increased by 20-25% y-o-y and 40% of hotel reservations are being made by locals currently. \u201cAs long as there is economic and political stability, you\u2019ll see the numbers of tourists improving,\u201d Ghali noted.
