Archaeologists have discovered the remnants of an ancient, 2,300-year-old <\/strong>gymnasium,<\/strong> the Associated Press reports<\/a>. \u201cThe discovery was made by a German-Egyptian mission at the site of Watfa in Fayoum \u2026 Watfa is the site of the ancient village of Philotis, founded by King Ptolemy II in the 3rd century BC\u2026 the gymnasium consists of a large meeting hall, once adorned with statues, a dining hall, a courtyard and a nearly 200-meter-long racetrack.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another big archaeological find was made in Israel last week where a dig uncovered <\/strong>the bones of an Ancient Egyptian Woman where none were previously found, <\/strong>according to Haaretz<\/a>.
