There is a \u201cvoid\u201d inside the Great Pyramid: <\/strong>Scientists announced that an imaging method using cosmic rays has detected a \u201clarge and enigmatic internal structure\u201d inside the Great Pyramid of Giza, Reuters reports<\/a>. \u201cResearchers announced the discovery on Thursday but said they did not know the purpose, contents or precise dimensions of what they are calling a \u2018void\u2019 or \u2018cavity\u2019 inside the pyramid.\u201d Mehdi Tayoubi, one of the leaders of the study published in the journal Nature<\/a>, says: \u201cWhat we are sure about is that this big void is there, that it is impressive, that it was not expected by, as far as I know, any kind of theory.\u201d National Geographic<\/a> and the Associated Press<\/a> also covered the story.
