The Electricity Ministry has yet to decide whether to build ACWA Power\u2019s 2.25 GW Dairut power plant in Luxor or Qena, Al Mal reports<\/a>. The ministry had reached an agreement with ACWA for the plant back in May<\/a>, with plans to build it in Luxor instead of the original Dairut. Talks are ongoing with the Oil Ministry to determine which of the two locations would be closest to the national gas network and the easiest to extend gas pipelines to.
