EEP to launch two <\/strong>new schools by 2025:<\/strong> The Egypt Education Platform (EEP) \u2014 a joint venture set up in 2018 between our friends at EFG Holding, the Sovereign Fund of Egypt (SFE), GEMS Educational Global and other investors \u2014 plans to set up two new schools in Alexandria and Somabay by September 2025, EEP CEO Ahmed Wahby told Enterprise.<\/p>\n

ICYMI:<\/strong> The EEP recently launched three new schools, with two Mobica-constructed schools being inaugurated in the Cosmic Village<\/a> in November and the opening of Hayah International Academy\u2019s Hayah West in Sheikh Zayed, Wahby told us.<\/p>\n

Current<\/strong> portfolio:<\/strong> The platform\u2019s portfolio includes 12 schools catering to various educational stages with a total capacity of 21k students, along with 11 preschools accommodating 1.5k students in Cairo and Alexandria, Wahby noted.<\/p>\n

Regional<\/strong> expansion in the works:<\/strong> EEP is aiming to penetrate two to three new international markets in the near future. While Wahby did not disclose the specific markets, he indicated that they are \"regional\" markets.<\/p>\n

And more EEP investments <\/strong>in Egypt to come:<\/strong> The platform intends to raise its investments to EGP 3 bn over the next three years, building on the EGP 1.5 bn already invested in the Egyptian market since its inception in 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
