Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met with F-16 manufacturer <\/strong>Lockheed Martin\u2019s Chairperson Marillyn Hewson<\/strong><\/a> in Munich yesterday to discuss further aerospace cooperation. Shoukry also met with his Belarusian counterpart<\/a> Vladimir Makei to discuss preparations for an MoU on ICT cooperation.<\/p>\n

Shoukry discussed ways to revive Palestinian peace talks with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres,<\/strong> according to a ministry statement<\/a>. The minister also met with UN Special Representative for Libya, Ghassan Salam\u00e9, for talks on Libya and discussed efforts to curb terrorism and illegal migration with French Armed Forces Minister<\/a> Florence Parly and Greek Defense Minister<\/a> Panos Kammenos. Rounding off Shoukry\u2019s busy diplomatic schedule was a meeting with Chairman of the European People\u2019s Party<\/a> Manfred Weber.<\/p>\n
