Cairo is one of 11 major cities that are likely to run out of drinking water, <\/strong>says the BBC<\/a>. Statistics from the UN show that the city could face \u201ccritical shortages\u201d by 2025 due to water pollution. \u201cWHO figures show that Egypt ranks high among lower middle-income countries in terms of the number of deaths related to water pollution.\u201d<\/p>\n
